Aloha...

Experience living on a century-old working Kona coffee and macadamia nut farm surrounded by birds, tropical fruit, and exotic flowers. All the mac nuts you can eat, plus hearty farm breakfast. Become part of the spectrum of living history, where more than 200 ancient Hawaiians farmed the narrow Keei strip to trade with their counterparts - the hunters in the mountains and the fishermen on the beach.

Enjoy a homemade breakfast, including fresh fruit from the farm, jams, and bread, along with our daily special entree. See the exotic flowers, fruits and mac nuts in season as you tour the farm.

On nearby native beaches, snorkel, scuba dive, or kayak near turtles, dolphins, and rare tropical fish.

Star gaze or watch the sunset on the large lanai overlooking Keei Bay and the Pacific Ocean Beach equipment, Common Kitchen area with BBQ available.

Guest Rooms

The Coffee Barn

The restored and converted coffee barn is very popular. In-room fridge, microwave & kcup machine. The futon couch makes into a bed for a larger family. Plenty of fresh air combined with a 1100 foot elevation make air conditioners obsolete.  At night you can look out the tall open windows and become transfixed with the myriad of stars unseen from crowded cities and bright lights! Sleeps up to 4 people. $140 per couple (plus tax).

The Greenhouse Rooms

Looking up to the farmhouse lanai from the garden area near the greenhouse rooms. Relax in the new addition behind the lanai. Both rooms have queen bed and futon/ couch, private bath and entrance, and are surrounded by tropical plants. Sleeps up to 4 people. $90 per couple (plus tax).

Directions

Directions:  The farm is about 20 miles from Keohole airport.  Turn right on Rte. 19, which becomes Rte. 11 after Kailua-Kona.  Look for the green mile markers on your left.  After you pass the town of Captain Cook, come 3/10ths of a mile past the 107 marker (7/10ths past the 106 marker from Hilo).  Look for the orange post with the blue Pomaika'i sign on the beach side. Turn in slowly, the drive curves sharply to the right and is steep! There are green lights on our sign at night.
